We are a contemporary and award-winning Barbershop located in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. We are looking for a talented and experienced barber to join our team here at Shepherds. As well as having a fun personality and a penchant for expressive haircuts, we want someone who wants to grow their skillset and challenge themselves on a daily basis. Persona, passion. drive and ambition are as important to us as your technical skills!

A Shepherds Barber will:

have the ability to perform a wide range of haircuts and hairstyles.
offer traditional shaving services, including straight razor shaves, as well as beard trims.
know about hair concerns and scalp treatments.
be aware of current and classic trends.
be clean and presentable in their work.
be able to sell products alongside their service.
provide the best possible customer service. Shepherds is one of the highest rated barbershops in Birmingham.

We provide on-site training if needed in certain areas, the most important thing we’re looking for is reliability and determination!

Requirements:

Proven experience as a barber or hairstylist.
Knowledge of various haircutting and styling techniques.
An understanding of different hair types and textures.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Creativity and ability to suggest suitable hairstyles and grooming solutions.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
