Global Hair, Makeup and Productions Academy is seeking a skilled and passionate Barber Tutor / Instructor to join our Alternative Education Provision. This is a unique opportunity to combine your barbering expertise with teaching and mentoring, helping to inspire and support young people across AEP, NEET, Post-16 and Post-18 pathways.

You will deliver engaging, hands-on barbering sessions while supporting learners in developing both technical skills and confidence for future employment or entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver practical barbering training to learners of varying abilities.
Plan and facilitate engaging, structured sessions.
Support students in developing professional and transferable skills.
Create a positive, inclusive and motivating learning environment.
Act as a mentor and positive role model for learners.

We are looking for someone who:

Is a qualified and experienced barber with strong practical skills.
Has a passion for education and developing others.
Is reliable, adaptable, and patient.
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience working with vulnerable young people or in alternative education settings.
Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience.
