We are looking for people who are passionate about barbering and interested or experienced in Old School and authentic vintage barbering for our award winning little business.
The ideal candidate will have worked on the shop floor as a barber executing haircuts to a high standard and be driven to excel and develop. They should also be organised and display above and beyond customer service skills. We’re a small, friendly team in a very cool and unique shop upstairs in a Victorian railway arch in Bermondsey at the heart of a bustling street food market at the weekends.
We have a core of loyal customers and solid reviews. We have an average of 100 new customers a month (with an 80%) retention rate) and need more skilled barbers to service them.
We are still in a growth phase and looking to expand the business further in the near future.
We will have opportunities for education to extend your skill set, particularly with old school/vintage barbering. We also have lots of cool things going on, including vinyl DJs in the shop, regular musical events and even the odd cocktail making masterclass! We just won the Prestige Business award for best barbershop in London and were shortlisted for the Federation of small businesses Micro Business of the Year.
